We're looking for a Design Engineer to help us build fast, beautiful things on the web — and grow Bejamas from the inside out.

We're on the hunt for a curious, creative coder who gets a kick out of shipping slick web experiences, running experiments, and helping a brand grow from the inside. No client work here — you’ll focus on Bejamas’ digital presence and internal products. Some days you’ll design and ship a new landing page, other days you’ll prototype or build polished components that support our Astro partnership. You should be equally comfortable designing from scratch (without always needing a Figma handoff) and coding production-quality implementations. You'll move fast, think in systems, and ship iteratively. If you thrive at the intersection of code, design, and experimentation — this is for you.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: React Router v7, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui

• Astro: internal projects and contributions to the ecosystem

• CMS: Sanity (headless CMS experience is a plus)

• Deployment: SST, Cloudflare, Vercel

• Design tools: Figma (but you’ll often design directly in code)

What you'll do

• Design and implement new pages, sections, and landing pages for Bejamas

• Create polished components, micro-interactions, and animations with a high bar for taste

• Prototype ideas quickly — sometimes without designer input — and iterate fast

• Collaborate with marketing to test and ship growth experiments

• Contribute to Astro-related internal projects and ecosystem efforts

• Ensure everything you ship is responsive, performant, and accessible
