Junior Full Stack Engineer

Flexible working - 4 day week, hybrid - working from home and in our offices in Mielec, Poland OR 100% remote within Poland.

 

About the Role

Lockheed Martin is looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to support the FORCE Portfolio, which powers internal IT infrastructure and services across global operations. You'll contribute to building, automating, and maintaining systems that support infrastructure provisioning, customer self-service portals, and change/incident management in multi-cloud and on-prem environments.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to grow their skills in full stack development, cloud engineering, and DevOps practices within a highly supportive, agile team or someone who already has some commercial experience.

 

Skills Required:

Core Technologies:

  • Scripting: Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell (Pwsh)
  • Cloud & IaC: AWS, Terraform or Azure
  • CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, Active Directory
  • Debugging & Support: Troubleshooting, performance tuning, system monitoring
  • Agile & Collaboration: Jira, Scrum, sprints, mobbing, story refinement

 

Nice to Have:

  • Monitoring & Logging: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing full stack web and infrastructure solutions
  • Support infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
  • Write and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Help build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD
  • Support containerized deployments using Docker or Podman
  • Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in sprints, planning, and story refinement
  • Troubleshoot and monitor system performance, ensuring stability and optimization
  • Work with global teams via Teams for collaboration

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred, not required)
  • Strong interest in DevOps, cloud, automation, and agile development
  • Willingness to learn and grow through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills, especially in remote or distributed teams
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud concepts is a plus
